Nokia today announced an entry level touch screen handset, Nokia C3 Touch and Type at the Nokia World in London. We have already seen Nokia C3, a low cost QWERTY, S40 phone with good messaging and social media connectivity. The new Nokia C3 Touch and Type is also built over the Symbian S40 OS and it comes with Nokia Messaging and inbuilt social media application, Communities Client. The device seems to be one of the best S40 Touch phones available in the market in terms of design and specifications. The premium metallic finish and features like 3G, WLAN, 5MP camera makes it a good touch screen handset in the segment.

Nokia X series now includes a new device Nokia X3 Touch and Type which is a music oriented handset. The X series handsets are more focused on music and entertainment with special dedicated keys, inbuilt storage and other facilities. The C series in the other hand has a bunch of budget phones with good social media connectivity, email and imaging features. Nokia C3 Touch and Type has a 2.4 inch QVGA, 262K, resistive touch screen display. The Symbian S40 user interface is tweaked to include email and social media applications. Status updates from social networking websites, latest email, visual contact list all can be accessed from the home screen of Nokia C3 Touch and Type. The Nokia C3 T&T is a quadband 3G-GSM mobile phone with up-to 10mbps HSPA connectivity. There is 5MP digital camera with LED flash -unfortunately support only VGA video recording at 15 fps. Other features of Nokia C3 Touch includes Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, WLAN, FM radio with RDS, card slot that supports storage expansion to 32GB, 30 MB internal memory, Nokia Messaging with Email and IM, and Communities Client application with Facebook and Twitter support. Nokia C3 Touch and Type will be available in three color options silver, warm Grey and Golden Khaki.

Nokia will launch Nokia C3 Touch and Touch type in the fourth quarter of 2010. The suggested market price of Nokia C3 Touch and Type is 145 Euros before taxes and other charges. So if launched in India Nokia C3 Touch and Type would cost around 9000 INR.

If it has video calling then it is ok for 9000 rupees if not then it should be for 6000 inr
